Hello- I recently joined so I am not sure how things work, but I see on this topic category another thread about building a drag metal detector for hunting meteorites. I posted a question also about metal detectors and it seems to have been moved.

Can someone please help me, and also, if you have any information about purchasing a Lorenz LPX2 metal detector other than through Kellyco (they do not carry them) could you please let me know?
Thanks
Dana

Dana, please sit back and be patient.   You've posted your request on a couple of different threads in a couple of different boards here.   If anyone has any information, they will get back to you.

Hello- thanks for responding! My concern was that my post disappeared from the meteorite section, and I didn't know if I had done something wrong in my question. I actually should have added that I am wondering what the difference is between the Lorenz LPX 2 and the Lorenz Deepmaxx...and also, is there any other detector that works similar to the Lorenz?

I appreciate any and all help!
Cheers
Dana

Kellyco says they do not carry Lorenze anymore, although they are on their site still.

We have friends that use pulse star and they are luke warm about how they work. We have the Lorenz LPX 2 and love it but can't find anymore or anthing that works as well as it.

What is the flying carpet?
