Hello all had a question and thought i would throw it out. I have place to detect and am not sure what would be the best way to start.  It is an old train stop from the WW2 era. I am not sure what i could find or what to look for.  If anyone has any ideas please let me know.  Thank You.

That's the fun part... not knowing what you'll find. Sounds like a great location! Start swinging and let us know what you unearth!  Smiley Smiley Smiley

Hm, maybe the side by the tracks may be effective.  Some people threw coins onto the tracks so that they could get ran over by the train.  The most common type was the 'Hobo' nickle, which at the time was a Buffalo nickle or possibly Jefferson nickel.  If you search where the building used to be, you might be able to find some change there.  Since the occupants inside would have more than likely dropped change that would slip in between the floorboards.  That is, unless the building is still there.

Anyways.  Hope that your search goes well and tell us of anything that you discover!! Good luck!! Wink Smiley
