 [exhausted]I am an amituer amituer meteorite hunter and want some tips on a medium grade machine that will find some. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Just about any detector can find iron and nickel, the main types of meteorites. The key to your success would be to analyze your environment where you will be hunting to determine which machine will be the best to eliminate the rather pesky ground mineralization and sill reveal iron and nickel.

That's a field test for you, not something that can be determined theoretically here by discussing it. Your best option is to look for other meteorite hunters in your area by posting on the Georgia or Florida boards and see what they are using. One user here also publishes a magazine you may want to get in digital format. He does an amazing job.
