Hello Goldnboy

Please find here some informations concerning this Lake.
Barbazan Lake is of glacial origin and is based on a mysterious legend: Saint Peter and Jesus, traveling in the area dressed like poor people, asked the hospitality of the people Barbazan. Repelled by them, but stay in a mansion outside the village by a couple of modest means, they punished the people of their inhospitable. St. Peter and Jesus parted so the land from which flows water engulfed the village and gave birth to Lake Barbazan, whose bottom is still not known at this time. The average depth is 8 meters.

Apart from this legend and also the fact that its supply system is not known, Lake Barbazan is a rare case of lake ice at this altitude (450 m).

Kind regards

Luc

Hi GoldNboy

Of course there are many legends and treasures to discover in France, I also in my projects that take some time off to devote myself to finding treasures, but for that I must wait until retirement approach. More than a few years.

Hello GoldNboy

I would normally retire in 2012 but the status of pension changes at this time in France, so for now it remains hypothetical.

Have a good weekend too

Luc Cool
