On the trail of the Golden Owl,

This treasure hunting was launched in 1993 by Max Valentin with a golden owl for the main prize (around 150.000 euros).

Max Valentin, pseudonym of R?gis Hauser is dead the 23 avril 2009, he has also created ? Sur la piste des cistes ? (on the trail of the cists)

To this day, it is the treasure hunting with the greatest longevity, (Max has claimed to have programmed it for a period of nearly one year !)

To win you have to solve eleven puzzles published in a book.

Each puzzles consists of a title, text and visuals (as you can see one of them below, i give you the first ).
These images are reproductions of original paintings of the painter and sculptor Michael Becker. They were composed according to specifications established by Max Valentin. They therefore participate fully in the location of the treasure !

The resolution of the eleven puzzles can isolate an area with the size of a small town located in metropolitan France.
To locate the precise spot where the owl is buried within this area should be to solve a riddle twelfth and final "hidden" within the previous.

The Golden Owl which is the main prize of this treasure hunting is a sculpture by Michael Becker representative, as its name implies, an owl wings, about 50 cm wingspan, a weight of about 10 kg of gold and silver, accented with diamonds.
This unique piece of art was originally estimated at one million francs (about 150,000 euros),

This is not the Golden Owl itself that was buried, but his size bronze copy.
The person who finds this voucher can be exchanged against the Golden Owl to the bailiff in charge of control of the game.

see you soon for further information ...
