Villeneuve-Lès-Avignon, the Carthusian monastery and its demarcations

Villeneuve-lés-Avignon is located in the department of Gard in 2 km in the northwest of Avignon.
It is a matter here of a treasure left by the monks Carthusian monk. A mystery not solved this day.
In the landscape around ways edged with stony low walls run coming from close careers. It is this stone which was also of use for the edification of the Carthusian monastery.
Except among these stones, some are particular. It is about engraved vertical monoliths.
They were named "Bornes" and on each the stamp of the Carthusian monks (a crucifix on a globe of the Earth the whole overcome by seven stars) is engraved, more numerous graffitis are willing on their faces. These monolithic "Bornes" were willing on the whole ambient hill, hill which
the ownership of the Carthusian monks was. Let us note nevertheless that today these "Bornes" disappeared. According to certain specialists of this affair, their establishment on the ground would point out the place where the Carthusian monks would have hidden, their treasure.
Signs inscribed on these demarcations, except the stamp of the Carthusian monks, are incomprehensible to the layman and of this fact let glide a part of mystery.
It is not about marks left by companion there to sign their job but everything hits to think that the Carthusian monks engraved on these demarcations of indications allowing to find a secret place.
For those that this history interests, I invite them to see patients on Internet, the very good tale of J-P
SACRIPANTI.
