Chinese, Qing Dynasty sex education marriage charm 64mm

(1/1)

JIMBY:
oh brother can I pick em or what , this was one of the two I bought from a Marine vet who brought this back from Vietname in 1968.
Turns out to be a Qing (Ch'ing ) dynasty 1644-1911 ad Chinese marriage charm that was given to newlyweds to illustrate how they should perform on their wedding nightto meet their family obligations to family and society to produce children. the inscription reads top to bottom and left toright. and translates to say,"wind ,flowers, snow, moon".the reverse shows partners in different positions making love.
I have not identified the other yet and do I dare after this one :o
