day one Joan of arc awesome wall box statue,this was the fridays find!!!
daytwo sat.
spent ten bucks and these are what I came home with with ,chilled lead shot bag, small pepper shaker, unknown brown hand blown glass whatzit this signed fired clay art item dated D.J.S. 69? and this cool I have no clue wood artifact. I thought it might be used in starting fires?
like with stick and something or other dont know but for a dollar  I ya know me...
then just some trinkets for the girls . last but not least thes two very small carved stones that came outta rings I guess, sorry forgot to measure they are about 1/2 tall and wide blew the picture up so to see em.
on is from a school ring i think  a great weekend out .

Thanks nickel_n , I actually sell on Ebay as well to support this hobby. (jimbyshouseoftreasures) if I can say that :-X
the Joan Of arc was not part of the ten dollar purchase , I am sure you knew that though that was my B-day present o myself .
there was a group of 5 or six of these Joan was the rarest, I talked the dealer down to $65.00 on her. this will stay home with me for a long time I hope.
any idea on what the wooden thing and the glass jar might be?

I just hate to see old things , end up in the trash . some of the best finds that I make come out of the dollar boxes that at the end of the day go into the dumpster.
now I am liqiudating some of my  own and consigning to support my coin collection, mindya not a hoarder like tv show, well organized but me and oscar the grouch must be related ;D
