	here we go, yet another 2nd hand store find... « on: May 23, 2009, 09:54:30 am »

with the temps raising up to be in the 100's I decided to do a little huntin indoors. went down to the local thrift shop to see what they had. I usually check out the jewelry but their prices have gone up so much I have been passing on it. Yesterday however while I was checking out the rings I came across this one. Feeling it was a fair price I went ahead and bought it. Took it to jeweler (dad) and had him look it over, He told me it is a handmade custom handstamped ladies biker ring, .925. The stamp is doubled which happens when you hit the hammer to stamp it and it jumps. So I was told. I paid 4 bux for it. Thanx for looking.

$4 is a steal on a 925 ring of that size --with silver at $13 a oz -- by pure 999 scrap silver wieght alone at 4/10 ths of a oz thats worth $5.20 ---and I know it wieghts over 4/10ths of an oz by far. Grin
