You do need a paper expert to be sure. If you live near New England, visit the curator of the Mystic Seaport who may be able to help you. Most maritime museums deal in lots of old paper documents.

Check with your library if they have a big are at least well maintained archives the people there may be able to help with a date on the paper. Your local collage may have someone in their literature department that can help also.

Thanks everyone  Smiley This is gonna take some work!!!! We have put it away for now....I dont even want to touch it lmao. Im still shaking!  wooohooo. Seldom I like that idea, I think we will take it to a big university around here, gonna call around monday! Cross your fingers! I am still going to get a better camera and post more pics for you guys. May have to go to the outlaws and borrow there camera!

Ace I am more interested in the WENTWORTH COUNTY ATLAS  can you get a picture of the back of the title page that is where the copyright and other info is. The book may be more valuable then the poster.

Hmmmmmm you want a pic, I know all about these atlases  Wink I have a fewof them for different areas, couldnt believe I found it for 5 bones. Yes Ill post a pic but I will wait till tomorrow my phone/camera takes crappy pics at night. I love these old atlases they have put me on many digging spots, they work so well Ive even been arrested a few times hunting spots on the maps lol They are outstanding for hunting old taverns!

A scanner on 600dpi works better than a camera for documents and pages.
