I'm looking for US coins to go the the all aluminum standard. Once again the value of the coin will be equal to the value of the metal. Almost. Korea adopted  this when the won was 105 to 1$. (1970)


Interesting facts. With aluminum coins perhaps finding pulltabs would be profitable.  Cheesy

I can see people not removing the pulltabs from the cans and saving them altogether. Perhaps finding pulltabs would be hard  Grin

If I knew how much a pull tab weighed I would calculate how many to the penny with aluminum scrap at $.56/lb.  Idea
