I made a find a while back at a thrift store of a Tommy pinball game from the 80'2 or 70's forget when but I paid $2 for it and its worth $100 easy on ebay I found ones for $100 in worse shape then mine mine is almost mint.

Yeah thinking about it I got some good finds in the trash too when I was in college in Boston suburbs even city its common to put trash out front and people can rummage through stuff. Like you will find books or movies in boxes and sometimes people even write on the box like free and if people dont take them away its trash.

I got lots of antique books that way surprisingly, and even some old records including a few Beatles records.
