My brother found a used Tesoro Bandido II in a pawnshop for $75.00. He asked the guy if it was the least he would take for it and he got if for $35.00. Why cant I get that lucky??? Sad

Obviously, the guy did not know what he had when your friend jumped on a good deal.
The only thing left to ask is did your friend get a good detector?
Some of the detectors I have seen in Pawn shops were just a piece of junk.
BUTTTTTTT, I have seen some pretty good deals there too.

I agree it counts. Treasure is where you find it. I was poking around in an old antique shop, the kind I like, lots of dust, warehouse sized, not too clean. I came across a set of rolled sketches. I took out my I-phone and took a quick shot of the artist and found out he was well known in the Dallas area in the 80's. I bought the 5 prints for $2.00 each. After a little more research I found a local gallery in Dallas that had some of his prints. I went and talked to the owner, he took one look and said , " oh, those are lithograph prints, they are only worth $300-$400 each." I just smiled and thanked him for his time!
Do you think that counts as a lost cache?
