Howdy!
I bought my AT Pro about 2 months ago, and am pleased, for the most part, with its performance. Learning to listen in pro mode has certainly been interesting, but I'm getting more and more used to it. There is one curious thing that I can't figure out. 7 out of 10 times, I find that the depth shown on the display is not accurate. Especially with pennies. The display will show 6, 8, or 10 inches, but I'll generally find the target, in the roots, or not more than 2" deep. I recheck the hole, to be sure, but get no signal. Does anyone have any suggestions, or answers?
Thanks

Try Turning the Gain Down as that can cause incorrect readings, and see if that works, If not try and contact Garrett or you dealers,

Thanks Ridge Runner. I'll give that a try. I generally leave it at factory settings, but because most of our area has been hunted so heavily, I'll increase it to increase depth. I'll run it both ways and compare results.

Good, Find A Target and check the reading with High Gain and then check where the Gain can only just pick it up, then dig up and measure the depth, Ok
