Fighti have an ace 250 and it has a pin pointer built in, is it better to have an additional pointer? or is it the same thing i have in my garret Round About?

What you have in you Ace 250 pin points the target for digging, but to fine tune to get to your finds you need the pro pointer, they are great. After using one for a while you won't believe how much easier it is to locate the coins, some coins turn the color of the dirt and are almost impossible to see.

I have been frustrated before not finding the treasure in a hole and gave up, not any more you can see if the target is in the bottom, or the sides of the hole.

Have fun and good luck

Definitly a must have....I love mine.....btw after you pinpoint with the 250  use the propointer and see if you can locate the find before digging. It will save you alot of time on the shallow or surface targets..

You'll love the Pro-pointer.  It's even more important if you're using a 250 since it has the 6.5 x 9 coil which will not pinpoint to the center of the coil.

i was under the assumption that the signal is sent out in a cone shape point to the ground. my ace 250 is nice tool, but i definately perfer better targeting. looking forward to my pointer.

Not the Double D coil. It has a different pattern of two overlapping, elongated cones. The pinpoint feature of the Ace 250 just lowers the signal intensity.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
