From all of the garret metal detectors, which one can detect the deepest depth?

Funny you mention the Garrett 2500 Cause that's what I got but still gotta get the deep search coils,It too me is a GOD! the Whites have a high learning curve, the Minelabs ROCK, But now find one that is a coin shooter, Deep searches can be dialed in for exactly what you wanna find and you can pretty much know what you got before you uncover it?! I would have to get at least 3 detectors to replace it. Ive had people rip on it cause its too heavy or awkward or? Whatever when I look at what they think is so special all I can say is grow a pair and walk like a man, Then I flip my frequency so it interferes with theres N they go away!...Overall its a preference N what fits the person as too what they wanna do or want it to do, also how much time there gonna spend with it so as to become one with it and know what its trying too tell the user. Let me put it this way Ive ridden Motorcycle for over 35 years and traded my GoldWing for a motor home cause I dint have time to use it, Now rain or shine I gotta place to stay when I go out and electronic prospect!!!

My Scorpion Gold Stinger, will beep on stuff down to 28"
And my Master Hunter, will down to 20",
Don't remember what the others do, been a gud while since I had any other Garrett models, but I just checked mine the other day and that's what I get, probly in damp soil would go more, I just don't like diggin the DEEP holes, and don't do it unless I feel like usin a spade or big shovel, would probly be junk anyhow, an old stove or iron sewer pipe, i usually give up on diggin a signal at about 10" unless it's a nice day, and I'm feelin Good Wise

Your Gold digger is impressive Wink , And as for what I wrote it was not meant too bad mouth or brag or degrade any one type, brand or manufacturer of any one type or series of Detectors. They are all Good and serve their purpose depending on what the individual is hunting for. Some people own 3 plus Detectors, Each for a specific hunt, I am not that rich and thats why I went with the Garrett 2500. It coin shoots, can deep search and can be dialed in too find one specific object like gold or?. However even with treasure imagine and all the bells and whistles does not mean I cant have my butt handed to me by a $135.00 detector if I am not in tune with what my machine is telling me!! A good example is that I have a "D" size target ( Bigger then a pop can) and its iron. Do I walk away? is it a horseshoe, a piece of old stove or is it just masking something good below it? When in doubt, check it out and if it is a horseshoe make a note as to the direction its tips are pointing cause it may be a clue as too something worth while! Also do a bit of research of the area you hunt, what use to be there, what it was used for ext, Was it used as a bombing practice before, during or after the war? Maybe that "D" size target is a old lost grenade or whats left of a old TNT box with blasting caps and your picking up on its hinges and straps or some ? from the civil war?? still wanna dig straight down on your target? Please use common since and DO NOT rely totally on any Detector as they are man made and man has made mistakes!, Ever had a GPS lead you down a dead end dirt road adding 1.5 hours on your E.T.? I wanted to leave ares there and let it find its own way back!!! Good luck to you all in 2010 T.H. everyone, Take care and have fun  Grin
