Does anyone know if coils from the Sea hunter mark II can be used on the old sea hunter XL500?

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Hello everybody,
I have the old XL500 and never really liked it for the following reasons:
On calm water work fine but the minute some waves comes there is variation of threshold that got me crazy.
Replacing the batteries by the manufacturer was an expensive proposition and became out of date in comparaison with unit like the CZ20 and the excalibur.I did replace them but neither used it again.
There is a so called discrimination  but as far as I have been told no discrimination existe as yet on pulse induction.
I had offers to sell in in Europe with my contacts but always refused to do so in this unit that I was not confident with.
It is in my closet with the small and large coil.
Should you be interested or know anyone feel free to make me a resonable offer.
This was my only experience with Garrett.

There's been many a gold rings found with that machine.

Your wave issue is due to Garrett not shielding the coil on the 500.

The 200 was and not as bad.
