was coin shooting a area and getting a fair bit of clad coins  at a play ground area --so I was cleaning out a bit of trash from the area as well -- when digging a reading that read as as "foil" -- up popped a tiny intact 10 kt gold kiddie ring marked --10 k mexico

so be aware --- small kiddie rings and earring come in as "foil" --- often -small womens rings tend to ring up as tabs ---and bigger mens rings and class rings come in as "nickles" with the 250 --- so if your gold jewelry hunting --- you can not "notch out" foil / tabs without risking losing gold items ---  the ace 250 golden rule* --if your hunting gold you will dig foil/  tabs --or lose alot of gold items  via notching tabs / foil out ---PS dig all nickle signals !

You're absolutely right Ivan, I only ever notch out iron, the 1st segment (relics) or at the most 2 segments (jewelry) otherwise you miss so much.

Ok Mike.
