I concurre.   Thats a VLF coil.

Garret did make a VLF SeaHunter.

What does it say on the box?

Hello ksightler . There were 2 coils that were available for the XL500 P.I. . The coil on the left is a rare 13 inch P.I. mono coil . Homefire is correct , remember several years ago Garrett made a "VLF" Sea Hunter !!!

I did not know the made a disc coil for them.

Ive just seen the loop mono coil form.

Hello Homefire . I am not sure but I think this Garrett Sea Hunter is around 5.5 khz and is a light version of the ADS I Deepseeker . I have photos of the circuit board but no schematic !!! You have been working on some Garrett models in the last year so maybe you know the frequency . Best Regards........Eugene

Wow, Eugene.... not much to that circut board.. Acording to the manual... The XL500 and XS500 are the exact same electronics... only the coil is different... Is this correct?
