My good friend John Crawley bought a Garrett and had trouble with it from day one it spent more time with the seller Don Cooper of Adelaide in South Australia than John was able to use it. When eventually it was returned to him for use there were only a few days left on the warranty. It lasted long enough for the warranty to expire before it went down again.
It was one machine I would not test tesoro made one as well I did test it but screws that hold the knobs on the control box rusted and I returned that machine to the retailer.
Id recommend an Impulse or a CZ20-CZ21 they are a sturdy machine well made and well presented and have a good guarantee and back up.
