Did you buy the machine new or used? Has it ever worked for you?

I would contact Garrett and tell them the symptoms.  They may be able to point you in the right direction.

Sorry I can’t tell.
But some years ago I had to send my Whites eagle in to be repaired by the factory. It was not turning on
They found the keypad was faulty.
The copper tracks on the pad where corroded and they where making intermittent contact.
Perhaps you should check for continuity/shorts on the pad first
