I love the sound of the ace 250 when I have found a coin...Ping.  It's hypnotising.

Thanks for the very informative write-up.  I'm considering an ACE 250 for my first purchase.

I found with my Ace 250 that if I am not swinging directly over the target, I get a deeper reading of say 6". I keep swinging to see if the depth becomes more shallow, then I know I am over the target. The Garrett Pro Pointer is simply amazing!HTH!

The Ace 250 is a great starter machine, quite a steep learning curve to squeeze the best from it,however,my Ace has paid for it`s self in 1 year so well done Garrett.

hi i have the older treasure ace 200 that i use for backup this machine performs just as good as the ace 150 and 250 if you can get your hands on one!  great noise when it hits a coin very easy to use and light weight its even fitted with target eye and the 8 and a half inch crossfire coil a very pleasing   machine for beginners  happy hunting!! Great info thanks for sharing! I'm new to the Ace myself and to this point haven't had much luck with it, but hopefully that will change Huh?

I've had the Ace 250 bounce from penny to nickel and I thought it was junk, but surprise, I find it's a penny.  If there's other metal in the ground, but you get the high tone, there could be a coin.
