im new at this where are some good places to look im in north east georgia im going to pcb in june going to try out the beach but want to find more places close by thanks for any help

the place where the templeton-reid mint was is now a subdivision and appartments in that same areathere use to be an old dirt road that lead back to that area but now its been developed i wish i was in this hobby before it was developed but I still think its great to know about that mint that was close by to where i live  Cry

I'm in Dahlonega and have permission on a couple of BIG properties.  I primarily spend my time prospecting, and know of a couple of hot spots, entrances to old mines, etc. that you cold wave a coil around as long as I'm with you.  Another member from this site has threatened to  come up here later in the week to walk the properties and splash around in the creek nugget shooting, probably on Wednesday or Thursday if the weather clears up.  Shoot me a PM if you're interested in joining us.
