hey sue glad you commented I read this post because I live in the area.I have been thinking about trying barnard there are some other small ghost towns in the area but i will bet you have already done your homework.I look forward to hearing more out of you.

Hi Knucklehead, I never made it to Barnard after the snow melted, but it would be neat if you check it out & report. A couple of close relatives died late spring and I'm still caught up in that aftermath so I haven't had the time to really go out detecting / exploring around like before - other than just dashes down to old parks after work once in awhile.  Sue
