Clearly you have not figured out how to help yourself using the Search function at the top right hand corner of the screen. Use it. There's a web site dedicated solely to ghost towns across America. See if you can find the long thread about that and get back to us when you do.

Sam, welcome from Kansas! if I haven't done that already. You are going to get some great information here, but rewards won't help much. If there is treasure near you, the information will come with research. Any of these Yankees that have done the research have already been on the hunt and have treasures in the den. Start with the local history, buildings and events that have changed the landscape in your area. The shore is good if you have access. not much shoreline in Kansas.

I though my thread would be on ghost towns forum. I trying to do my best here. People seem to be very friendly. Happy to hear from people from Connecticut and those who have information on bury treasures and ghost towns that they no longer searching for. [welcome]

I have this nagging feeling that you have the wrong idea about treasure hunting. I suggest you read The Treasure Hunter's Manual 6 & 7 by Karl Von Meuller before you ask one more time for a buried treasure lead.
People do not publish information about their own treasures when they hide them. Instead, you have rumors and suggestions to guide you. Neither of them are going to get you to treasure and asking here certainly isn't going to do it. You need to learn how to find a treasure lead and then how to convert it to a find. Please learn by reading here. There are thousands of messages here to help you. Stop asking for crumbs every day when there are T-Bone steaks available. Start reading and keep reading. There is enough here to keep you busy for ten years.
