Hello All
Not all ghost towns are successful tourist attractions or substantial buildings have survive. Some ghost towns are in very poor state, to the point of oblivion.
Hamilton is an abandoned mining town located in the White Pine Range, in western White Pine County, Nevada, USA. The town boomed in 1868 and 1869 following the discovery of rich silver deposits nearby, but the ore deposits proved shallow and by 1870 the region was already in decline. Hamilton became the first county seat of White Pine County in 1869, but lost that designation to the town of Ely in 1887.
Hamilton is now a ghost town, with only scattered ruins remaining at the site.
