That is sad.  It sounds like he was a really nice guy.  Did you ever get a chance to check out to his ghost town? I'd think more than a few of us would like to have a dream like his.

Been there a few times.  Never seen him there.

Cool set up.

This Town was only for the Rail Way.  Nothing to do with Mining.

Funny thing.   Just a few miles down the road there was a big silver find.

I know this is almost a year old, so the story is gone - so, I'm not really sure what the story was.  However, we were there a little over a year ago. Neat place.

No real fence Karl!     There is someone living there.

Private Property.

Homefire is correct.  There is some fencing - bad fencing - but it is private property, and is posted.  There is a turn-in roadway, so you can see the entire area - in fact, there were a couple
of tractor-trailers parked on the one side - so, from that roadway, you can see most of it. (the dirt road continues across the rr tracks.)

I'm not 100% positive, but it does look like someone is living there - when you first drive into the roadway, the town is on your left and there is a house that looks lived in, on the right. (if I recall correctly).

Deming is just 52 miles from there.    I go Meteorite hunting in the dry lakes just west of there.

Stopped there many a times.

I knew the Guy that got killed.

Never seen him there but Talked to him here in Deming at least 100 times.

There is a Care Taker that lives there to chase off the Riff Raft.

The folks around here would take the sidding off your trailer if you didn't have someone watching it.

If you ever happen to stop by, just pull in honk the horn ONCE!    They will let you walk around and have a good look see.

If no one is there, you can still look at the first bit with out any one and get a see.
