hey lazzy;;  good job completing the erm. was it difficult and could an ameture like myself put one together. i have wanted to build one of these for several years but found myself in over my head. also was having hard time finding all the parts.  would you be interested in building another for reasonable fee? if so i might have a job for you;;  curious to see results when you get it up and running.    regards; jb;;

jb

the resistivity logger is a feasible project for someone with patience, good knowledge of basic electronics, soldering and organizational skills;
since the pcb is not available anymore from epe, you've got to build it from the plans in the relevant epe magazine article;
once you have a good quality digital image of the plan (or a special autocad-compatible vector drawing in case you have the relevant circuitry software), you should order it from an experienced pcb constructor;
you can easily order all necessary components from a good electronics provider - most of them are readily available or could be become available within days or a few weeks;
finally you'll need a good soldering iron...
regarding a possible construction on my behalf, even if I would decide it, I could not really guarantee the behaviour of the unit whatsoever - but, before all, I have first to test it thoroughly, since the project was just completed...
thanks for the proposal, anyway... I will let you know, if I decide doing this!

I probably have, somewhere around here, one or more board sets for the epe resistivity logger. I'll check and report back.
