The schematic plainly shows 9v and that is the batterys it has used for years, and what is an "incomplete circuit"??  This circuit must be complete (whatever that means) because it does what it was manufactured to do (just not in all locations)  I would think anythink that anything that started with the postive side of battery and ended with the negative side of battery after going through many components would be considered "complete?, but then I know nothing about circuitry.

I'm confused.  EMFAD is a type of EMI detector?

If so why would you be needing a Transmit Station?

If it worked , it would work world wide.

All I see in the Schematic is a chain of  amps that would be a RF mess in the end.

You can go to the EMFAD website and read all you are interested in reading about it.
I don't need a transmit station - I need it to receive the existing TX's that are available.
No, it will not work worldwide, only where it can receive a suitable signal.
I don't have an answer for your last statement.

That's what it uses for a TX, and the freq is 24.8khz in Jim Creek, Washington, and the other is in Cutler, Maine @24khz, and the one in Maine is one of the most powerful in the world.  So, this receiver module needs to receive p-lus or minus 24 khz, right?  It was manufactured to receive 42-144 khz, which does fine in europe, turkey, etc, but not here.  I have had a friend test it up clost to Washington, and Wyoming, an it seems to receive ok, but not here in South Texas, or in Deming, NM. where you live and where I go frequently to pursue my hobby.  If you are so inclined and educated would you be interested in building a new module (antenna and receiver board) or adapting this one?  Another friend has changed some capacitors just where the antenna comes out and it will, in fact, receive a 24 khz signal using a signal generator, or my tx, but evidently it is not sensitive enough.  Now you are up to snuff on what we are discussing.  Would you like some photos of the inside of it and the module itself, etc?
