I would not recommend buying it. It is a VLF detector with big loop and some fancy PRE-PROGRAMMED (= STATIC) images.

Better go for a deep seeking pulse induction detector.

So far I like my JeoTech, got it last week. I can detect voids - non metalic - at least to 20", as deep as I've tested so far. Reviews for them are hard to come by. I too would like to hear more about the JeoHunter, tho, at this time, I don't have a use for one myself. Gotta find a sandy beach or pile of soft dirt to test deeper, 20" in Texas Gumbo is a tough dig  Tongue .

Hey Viracocha, I am working on a sun shield that will attach with velcro, remove for transportation. It's hard for me to see the display in the sunlight. Let me know what you find and anything you feel like sharing. I haven't gotten out much since I got it. Hope to really get busy this summer.

You do know that there is a dial on the side that allows you to turn up the volume... then you just cup you hand over to see what the fuss is about!... no fancy sunshield needed!
