Christian, nice gpr congrats! Bet you can't wait to get it in the field. If you don't mind, what does that module cost?

Christian, do you intend to use the Mala in the Asia-Pacific region? The reason I ask is because 3 or 4 years ago (I forget), I contacted their regional office for a quote on a unit. The Malay gent I spoke to was brutally honest and said that in certain soil conditions here, the gpr would have shallow penetration (1 to 3 feet) and at best, 5 to 6 feet. It surprised me as i had expected gpr to go much much deeper. The price made my jaw drop too. I decided to stick to my trusty 2 box.

Anyhow, that was years ago and technology does progress. Hopefully today's tech will yield you much better results!

Hi Christian
Great piece of machinery , Thats what you need around our goldfields , most of the fields are on flat ground or in desert regions so you would have a good go there, some of the nuggets are only a few inches to many feet deep .   The Hand of Faith weighing 875 troy ozs or 72 troy pounds was found by a metal detector only 6 ins below ground in 1980. how you going to get on when you hit a gully?
