Привет Народ.  Hello

This device is a Professional Precise Geophysical Instrument made in Russian by Russian National Geophysical Academy. Its a quite newest technology for undersoil scanning. 3D spatialization is obtainable by accurate alignment of coil systems. It transmit simultaneous 14 multiple multi-period pulses at a full frequency diapasons up to 250 KHz and precise meassure impulse responses of each eigenvectors fields. Its a full 3D Real Time Vectors System. The big ammount of datas are precessed by DSP by very complex mathematical apparatus, which are patent protected in a National Russian Patent Office. Nemfis is a quite new type of 3D conductivity meter. The precessed datas are fed to PDA (personal digital assistance) for graphically visualisation of undersoil contents. The price of this instrument is 24200 bucks excluding VAT. The biggest advantage of this complex system is High Resolution Real Time Digital Signal Processing. Many excavations from Mongolia, India and Italy validate his siperiority among the other instrument in this class of geophysical instruments.

Regards

Charovrat will do the reset of job. I mean Videos and Pics. Thats all folks.
If you wanna real MD machine not so expensive like GPX4500, read the thread about ШАНС "
Chance" Full Discrim MPS PI detector under 50 bucks. I think "THE CHANCE" gonna be a fine thing. Its so amazing, but his author Фёдоров Андрей aka F_Andy put it to public domain, like a freeware PI project.
Dont be so sceptic about this, but Андрей is a special kind of men, who want to share his experience and his work, the right word is "hobby" with many people who really want to prospecting and finding things.

I forgot to say, all control of main unit is wireless. NEMFIS use well known BlueTooth technology to connect to PDA. In a working position the lenght of unit is 2.75 meteres while in a transort bag is a little shortly  1.4 meters. The weight of unit is 8 kg. I dont know right value in pound sorry. The most important thing for geologist is that NEMFIS can do a job uninterruptably 10 hours. This is preferrably geophysical equipment, but why dont prospect with it???

Здоровья всем!

Finally we have back from field work with scanner Nemfis. Now I will add some review about device and our test work with Nemfis and add some pictures of the results.
In two weeks we prepare complete expedition for same place for digging works, then I will add some photos of findings (if we find something and if my friends allow to make photos  Lips Sealed).
This evening I'll try to find some time for this forum.

Have a nice day.

The objective was two ancient tumulus (Krasnodarsky kray) with slope ~15deg and another ~35deg. First tumulus (35deg) very difficult there are many trees and big bushes. Operator has scan the upper part of hill in GPS track mode. In such mode - program renew the map automatically and draw the track.

I have make screenshot of maps with apparent conductivity from several frequencies.
On the maps we see local anomalies with highest and lowest conductivity (I have delete GPS coordinates on axes).

Next step is to open the ground and associate the results with real findings.

We have drive 3 hours so we have arrive to second tumulus in the evening. Operator start to work in map mode to test area on the highest point (17x12m). Second hill more easy to scan but also has many trees and bushes on some places.

{alt}

There is the pictures from some freq:
12 frequency on PDA
{alt}

same 12 frequency on PC
{alt}

1 freq
{alt}

6 freq
{alt}

14 freq
{alt}

We find several contrast anomalies that also will checked in several weeks.

While work with device I can tell that it has very simple operation through PDA, the results can be shown like curve of signal, cuts of the profile or map of frequency in apparent conductivity, resistivity, ADC quantums and in quadrature or in-phase components. The values appear after you push by stylus on any point of the map.

I have tried to scan several points - PDA has button for fingers that alias with "start scan" software button, so all operation while scanning goes by one finger. The weight of the scanner load the hand but because hand is straight - it is possible to carry Nemfis long time.

I will return to complete this review after we dig the places that locates on the maps.

Best regards
