Hi all,

I have a little question on the Nokta golden king plus radar. is is a goor radar to detect non metal items? I read that the must on this radar is that it's able in real time to scan the ground and convert it as graphics images.
Are they some peoples experience this radar? what were your feeling?
I looking for non metal items like wood, plastics, etc...

Thanks for your answers

Changes in ground mineralization (if large enough) will register as a "cavity" on the Golden King. I've detected tree roots of about 25mm in diameter, pieces of broken pottery and palm-sized rocks before; all show up as a "cavity". Never detected any plastic materials before, so I can't comment on that.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. another question, does the radar works in real time. meaning the 3D graphics are convert in real time, or shall we wait until the conversion of the records? because I need to search in a big park.

Regards

You will see the 3D images of the target immediately on the screen after you do the "up-down, left-right" scan over the detected target. For a clearer idea of how that works, view the air-test videos at nokta's website, and download the instruction manual to read (it is also available at the kellycodetector.com website.
The Golden King is quite heavy, and if you have a large area to cover quickly, I suggest you get a body harness, bungee cord and hipstick to help distribute the weight over your hips. It also helps a lot to keep the detection head parallel with the ground for more accurate scans. I got mine from detectoraid.com . Happy hunting!

Am very happy, would recommend, and slightly over USD7k inclusive of DHL, full insurance and import duty. Mind you, that was in last year; dunno if prices have gone up or not.

You're most welcome. People have the right to their own opinion (be it distorted, 2nd hand or for purposes of slandering Nokta). Seems that one detractor in this forum had a grudge against Nokta for withdrawing distribution rights due to an unpaid debt. It up to you to formulate your own opinion.
How much cheaper can u get the unit for? I may consider to get a spare Golden King. Wink
I don't mind if you want to call me, but it's better for other readers if you just ask me any specific questions which you have in the forum so they can read it too. You may even get a reply from those who say the machine is trash! Grin
