The thing is that the units really works - on iron only - because it uses a fluxgate sensor. This sensor is buikt and sold by a German physican. OKM buys it and puts it in their fenzy housing with a price increase of 1000%. Instead of buying a rover you could buy a cheap pre-owned magnetometer which would give you basically the same results.

Christian, I have to respecfully disagree.  The Rover-C is an E/M "field" detector. I have used it a few times and detected  underground tunnels, (confirmed with GPR) A cocquina wall (confirmed by drilling)  Copper cable, and  it is regularly used to locate buried PVC pipe (Plastic non-ferrous) by a plumbing contractor friend.   Dell
