Hi everybody here. I am newbie here and in reply to admin (Mr. Christian) request, I put this thread about Rover C made by OKM in Germany. As you know their productions are not a real GPR and just sense the fields on the ground. we prepared it about 3 years ago
and made many tests by it. what we have detected by it were some holes, tunnel and well. we never could detect by it any treasure up to now.
of course realized it can detect metals which are old buried and mostly detects
magnetizeable metal( e.g. iron) much better than noble metals.
meanwhile I think unable to detect very deep. all of the detected were not deep (maximum 5 feet).
Before I had put some info with picture about this in Dell Winders forum,
but now it's address(

there was a person(Zipzager) who owned Rover C with supersensor and more info.
By the way we never had supersensor.
If is any question that I can answer , will be my pleasure.

Dear Michael,

thank you for sharing this information.

Can you please let us know what claims the manufacturer is making to its depth and have you been able to detect caves with it yet?

Sincerly,

Christian

Hi Michael, I apologize for the problem with the Treasure America Forums.  It Was hacked, and I don't know if it can be restored. It will take someone a lot smarter than I am about computers to possibly recover the data.

I am very sorry for the big loss of information that you and other folks have contributed in the past few years.  I never thought anyone would have any reason to hack my  little website. I was wrong!   Dell

Hi dear great Venerable Dell, I am sorry for that. think nothing of it.

1- It has one standard sensor that is delivered with device and due to
their claims can penetrate up to 18 meters by it. the supersensor that is
big and long is optional and claim can penetrate up to 25 meters I think it works by their newest software (Visualizer 3D) as the software has 2 version; old(standard) and new (Visualizer 3D). But the maximum penetration we got was 15 m.( based on the depth column show) of course you know these penetrations claims are not true.

2-we haven't tried for cave finding though I doubt be able to find caves in depth. of curse my Rover C is old version that is designed to detect metals better than cavities. now they have Rover C II which is combination of Rover C + Cave finder, how it is reliable for cave finding at depth I don't know. but as you see we could detect a well that opening was 1 meters under ground.
or a semi-tunnel that had been collapsed years ago. and some graves.

3- Depth determination is approximate; sometimes is very near the real depth
and sometimes differs high. it depends on soil mineralization rate, your grid pattern
accuracy and geographic direction.
* I should add OKM procudtion are not comlpetely bogus, but worth not such prices.

I hope these info would be useful. If you want some pic of metal and target
 detected, I will put.
