Have any one heard about use of topography in metal detecting ?
If yes, I'm willing to hear.
Thanks

Hi Hessam,
Maybe you mean "Earth Resistivity Logging?".
Have a look at this link (the free software is excellent)

There is a device in Russia that give you same information of earth resistivity and conductivity. It works great with Golden Software, so you can receive 3D image of conductivity difference in the ground. It can detect any metal objects from 15x15cm also with this device you can find caves and any dielectrics (of course with good contrast of ground).
It generate em field from 2,5kHz to 250kHz, it penetrate 10m.
The cost of this device is 15 thousand euro (basic set). The manufacture is Geophysics institute of Russian Science Academy.
They patented the device from 1996 but start to sell only this year. They have many good feedback from archeologists and geophysics.

I like to hunt out of the vision and hearing of others.  This  implies that I use the topography of the land to be in a place that is unseen and where sounds are hard to hear.  I have found some nice things using this idea, because if someone is caching or hiding and object that person doesn't want to be seen or heard either.
