I already have that option on my Android GPS where I can use cell towers, two additional satellites and airport towers. Not as accurate as straight GPS but in the woods, the satellites are sometimes obscured by trees while nearby cell towers are still able to sync between the trees.

While in Deap Canyons here it can take 45 minutes for enough sats to go over to get any kind of location.
