     In the past I used the topozone web site for studying topo maps and getting the geographic coordinates for entering into a GPS unit.  Topozone is no longer free and usable. Lately I have been studying

and I think it is great.  It works better than the old topozone site. 
     I am in the process of studying how well the coordinates transfer to other mapping sites and Google Earth.
