I found this today and seeing as BA has a Truck of the same Brand I thought
you would like to see this 4WD and camper in the Aussie bush

Enjoy

I'm glad it's them towing that trailer with the Toyota and not me.   btw, during our last off road venture, I broached the idea of getting a snorkle added to our rig to the wife.   In polite terms, her response was "Not just no, but HELL NO!"

I liked the Russian SUV.   I can think of a couple of places I'd like to take that thing for a test drive.....only problem is I know how hard it is to get sparse parts and a repair team from Russia  Grin

theres a troop carrier version of that Toyota with just 2 doors and 2 on the tailgate, I've been trying to find one
because I want to make it in to a 4WD camper for my detecting, I've only seen 1 in the UK, I had the short wheelbase
version and I've seen the 4 door one as well, I know the UN use them and you can but them new or second hand in OZ
but i'll keep looking.

Pretty impressive 4 wheeling, looks like fun if it's not my rig. Wink  I wonder if any of the trailer seams are still together? Must be all welded aluminum construction. Thats a lot of abuse to a big square box...  Grin

In OZ you get 2 types of camper, you get the normal Touring type and then you get special seam weldied models
that cost alot more and as you saw they can take a hammering, those Toyotas are very tough but I think those
campers can hold their own, all the time i was watching that I was wondering if the water got in,

Haha me too being an ex RV technition in one of my former lives. I kept looking at the access doors thinking of mud rolling out from under the cabinets....

I was pretty sure it had to be a welded seam model as a normal wood construction would have come apart on some of those places for sure. Nice little trailer for sure.
