Hope everyone made it through the Blizzard / Snow Storms. {alt}

I believe the news said it was the first time in 12yrs that Chicago closed the schools due to snow.

I also heard some places got as much as Two (2) Feet of Snow!!

Here in the Valley of the Sun we're currently experiencing 34 F with an expected high of 45.   Skies are clear, wind is 3mph from the NNE and the humidity is 14%   Don't you wish you were here?   (you could make fun of all the locals running around in parkas and thermal underwear)

we just got rain and about an inch of snow today  the wind roared all day and its cold  15-20  miles north of us got ice  lost power and all 100 -  150 mile got 2 or more ft of snow on top of 1-2 inches of ice  i hope that was the last punch of this winter  we have had enough .

the snow dont bother me too much hope thats all we get if anything. that much ice with the wind blowin like that lots of folks lost power some wont be back on till tommorow  =frozen pipes    i am gonna have to invest in a salamander heater or a generator

oH no  !  one thing i learned is you will need to get a little cash to keep cause when the lines/systems get funky or go down  credit cards/atm/debit cards will be useless just somthin to keep in mind  i realized this standing at a gas pump and my truck was on e so learn form my mistake lol luckily i knew the owners and they let me run home (get my check book ) and write them a check
