Another good thing is to go into your crawl space make sure u have no water leaks.
Make sure u rake out the crawl space and get all debris out from under the house.
any wood scrapes etc, is just food for bugs.

then purchase exterior / outdoor bleach and spray/pour all the way around the inside of foundation and around piers supporting floor. if you have no cap on your block pour some bleach inside the block as well.

Not only does it kill the cockroaches it's makes a great deterrent for mice and snakes and spiders etc.
also pour around the outside of the foundation. Learned that trick when i worked for orkin-
ur house will smell like bleach but it's better than the roaches.

also anything with Pyretheum in is great for killing cock roaches and making them run out from the hiding places.
then u will know just how many u really have.

Good Luck
Karl

homefire, the german roach is off the hook here in fl. the only way to get rid of them is to have your house/mobile home tented. you have so much space in a mobile home they can live, you'll never be able to control them with store bought poisions. once tented ( which kills every living organism in the tented area ) you will need to use a good pest control company or do it your self being sure to spray under and around the house on a regular basis. trust me i deal with them on a regular basis doing cleanouts and remodels. if you see 1 or 2 german roaches you have an infestation of thousands! GOOD LUCK BROTHER !!
