Front Door open. I had a visitor today looking for his free Food.

Came in the Door, Buzzed my head sitting on the Couch and said Hello! I'm Back!

My wife goes ga-ga over hummers. Of course I'm not far behind her. When I was living in Albuquerque, I had a pair nest in a hanging geranium just outside the front door to my apartment (a door that never got used). Since the door had an old wire reinforced glass panel at eye level that looked straight at the nest, I and my family spent a lot of time monitoring the nest.

I have several that pass through every year. Love to watch them tussel over the feeders. One will take a perch in the trees and dive bomb any others that try to get a drink, then while he's chasing off that intruder another one will sneak in and fill up. Grin

So fun to watch.

In Tucson we had Big Glass windows floor to roof.

The Silly things would Run into them time to time and break there Necks.

They sould fight over the feeder and some would do the same smacking the Ground .

Homes, I have to keep the big picture window in front covered or all kinds of birds try to fly on through one side to the other, usually goes bad for them... Hummers, swallows, doves, budgies, quail, even a pheasant or two. They make a big thump.

Haven't seen any up my way yet, but it won't be too much longer they will pass through on the way to the mountains.

In flight refuel! That's a good one Xav and so true
