  Ive come up with some very interesting samples lately and beccause of their oddity --- I must ask, has any platinum ever been found in idaho --- Ive never seen anything like these before and the closest I can come to on the web is pics of platinum ---so whats up???

Pictures would be handy, but yes, Idaho has platinum. You would have to do more than visually inspect the sample to know for sure, but you can search for "testing for PGM" or something of that nature. I believe most non-assay tests involve nitric and hydrochloric acid.
