Chug

Looks like a Sprite Fetish not Cherokee maybe Zuni or Navajo. If you can get a better picture of the artists mark or a drawing of it may be able to tell you more.

Most of the Indian silver I have is Navajo, and the person that made it just put their initials in it, might just be the makers initials you have there.
On mine the silver is very soft and really scratches easily, tarnishes fast, most is from New Mexico that I have Detecting
when they need money for  firewater (booze) could buy rings, nice ones, for five bucks.  Wise

Ask your boss where it came from. It looks like a common tourist piece sold along side the highways of the Southwest.

I got mixed feelings about this piece. The marks on back look to be original artist markings found on good pieces of old pawn jewelery. On the other hand the heart and heart lines on front are designs used on modern tourist jewelery. Plus its a lost wax cast piece and traditional Indian  is sand cast or cuttle bone cast which only gives you a one sided design.
As GD said knowing where it came from would help.

I am thinking the 70's on the ring. That's when that faux nugget look was popular. Probably had a stone set in it at one time. Can you say Disco Baby.
Not much value on the ring in my opinion

Advice? Don't hurt your boss's feelings. Tell her that the pieces are lovely but that you can't see yourself wearing them because you prefer large, semiprecious stones in gold settings. Then offer to help her put them on eBay and see what they fetch.

Without provenance or hallmarks, they're really worth only pocket change. If you tell her that directly, it may impact on your relationship. If she sees this, I'm a dead man. I can sense that she's looking at this. She's right behind me now, isn't she?
