If it's a glass stone- would the ring even be made of gold? Why would anyone set glass into gold? Perhaps the  women on this forum can give me some perspective. ;) ;) ;)

could be a fake stone they put fake  rocks in gold rings alot so if it is stamped it is gold take it to a jewler
