confederate spies

I have tons of information about confederate activities in Shenandoah Valley area concerning several famous confederate agents, officers, and politicians, much of which is family histories and not the stuff you find in history books.  I need HELP!!  Looking for an experienced, honest treasure hunter in that area who has experience with maps and can find signs in the field.  I can offer nothing but knowledge as i am very new to this, but i KNOW there is a Masonic connection and suspect KGC. Please reply to post first and let me know if interested.

Wow...you are bouncing all over the place.

Are you specifically interesting in the Confederate States of America....Knights of the Golden Circle or the Masons? They are three very different entities

My research is about a family that is very prominent in the CSA, both politically and militarily. There are several prominent masons in the family, and connections to at least 4 famous confederate spies.  What i have is really quite amazing and is almost to fantastic to be a true story.  It is just an incredibly large amount of information and i don't know where to look next.

So how can we, as a Treasure Hunting and Metal Detecting community help you in your quest? Is your fantastic story somehow treasure related?

I don't know if there is any treasure to be found, but with all I,ve read about Confederate caches and the like, I imagine it's quite possible.  The area was highly traveled by Early's men and I have some pretty neat connections with Mosby's raiders.  I think there is something to be found, even if it's not a cache or treasure.  At least some interesting artifacts.

I have thought about a book and if any of you can write, hit me up,lol.I'm no author, but i think it would make for a fascinating book.

Nobody can tell your story better than you can meynard. I suggest just going to any one of the free blog sites and starting one. If your story is original then no one can steal it from you because you have already made it public. If your story is just a relating of already public facts then its already history and is no ones personal property.  Either way if you tell the story first you are the one to be remembered for it. Since you don't know of any hidden treasure what have you got to lose?

meynard:
thanks for the advice.  I would like to find something in the field, signs or relics, to add a modern day angle or to coaberate the truth. There is just entirely to much property involved to just start wandering around hoping to get "lucky". I would like to find some one in the area that has experience with civil war relics/treasure that would have an idea where to start looking. Does any one have any suggestions for a credible blog sight? Is any one else studying the local history in the shenandoah valley? thanks
