First post, so bear with me.  I found a tree in the woods near Winchester Virginia that I'm sure is a "bent" tree or "owl" tree. Researched the land and came up with TONS of CSA and masonic connections, including correspondence with a known confederate spy. Has anyone ever found any evidence of KGC here? Where do i look now?

Welcome aboard from Australia.

OK. I'll bite. What is a bent tree or owl tree?

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Well I seen a documentry on the KGC, if you just take the fact that money dissapeard along the route, you could come to the conclusion that there is a treasure, waiting for the south to rise again.

The masonic temple has been recognized in many treasures in as many possible conspiracy's.

I would post my finds with pictures. but not location. Be aware and weary of the treasure trolls who may wish to help. Invest in some reading, and rent some deep penetrating equipment if your convinced there may be treasure about.

Type KGC in the search bar above, you wont lack for reading or links. Only visiting Virginia, and not knowing your area, I cant help. Again, I wouldn't post your area. There is also rumors of the treasures being protected at all cost.

Last, if you find something, check to make sure you can keep it before you post it.

Happy Hunting.

This is a good policy. A friend of mine, now 105, told me the secret to a long life. Here's what he says. "To live a long time, just keep breathing. The trouble is, you gotta sleep sometime."

thanks for the tips, especially about the location. I have all kinds of info and history and some of it is REALLY interesting.  It involves CSA officers, politicians, even KNOWN confederate spies!! If I knew how to write, I'd quit looking, write a book, and be RICH!!!

Again, looking for anyone who has seen SIGNS IN THE WOODS in northern virginia around winchester and stephens city, that is as much detail as i feel comfortable with giving out now,lol

Good luck, and keep us posted. I'm really REALLY good at finding rusty objects that are trash, So I do enjoy reading posts where someone actually finds something cool. Good hunting,

Bill
