What was with the "Badges"??..I studied this subject for several years, even was a member of that group ,KGC treasure hunters/research, the more I studied the more the claims of sums hidden did not add up. People should step back and take a breath, learn how much money was in circulation, how much does gold weigh, and a lot of stories are found to be absurd. It's to bad we all grew up seeong the outlaw in the movies , with bulging saddle bags of gold gallop off into the sunset. That would have been a huge amount of weight. I did some research on a robbery once, where the strong box was filled with gold coins. Using the weight of coins, plus avg. box weight, it came out close to 300 pounds..Thats heavy!! ..you don't just throw that up across the saddle.

If the gentleman are finding kgc gold or jessie james gold they are still finding gold . I havent found any gold yet for those who ask to prove it is . I say prove its not . MR. james was a southern legend so i can see why some folks want to discredit or surpress him like alot of others .even today This man was a genius when it came to out smarting the union, police and bounty hunters, bush wackers and the pinkertons. for someone to think he couldn't have faked his death makes no sense to me But what ever your stance is. it looks like gold is being found linked to KGC in KANSAS and ARKANSAS

There are several conflicting tales of the life of Jesse and Frank James after the death of Charlie Bigelow in Jesses stead in 1882. They simple can't all be true if taken at face value. One of the more interesting ones involve Jesse James and the assassination of John Wilkes Booth in Enid, OK.
