Golddigger, my sources are all cited.  The boys found the gold.  And the gold is tied directly to the top rebels of 1860s Baltimore, who in turn were connected to John Wilkes Booth and Albert Pike.  I am assuming you have not read Knights' Gold?

It's really moot because that particular cache has been found. But let's visit this so called "proof."

One person writes a fictional article for the New York Times. Three contemporary treasure hunters read it and each write something about it on the Internet. A few more read their posts and rewrite it so as not to steal the actual copyright. Well, now we have several people all writing the same thing and appear to be independent sources. All based on one fictional article.

And along comes the author of a book citing several sources which all were the fruit of the poisoned tree, as it were.

Nothing can make a falsehood true. But Sol Olinsky said it well. "Tell a lie often enough and it becomes true."
