how stuff gets lost

 A lawyer had parked his BMW in its customary spot, along the curb in front of his office.  As he opened the door to exit the vehicle, a big brown Cadillac with rusted chrome and a badly broken windshield came sliding by, taking the door right off the hinges.  It went flying.

There just happened to be a police officer across the street and as he ran to the scene the lawyer was out and screaming "OFFICER! DID YOU SEE WHAT THAT GUY DID TO MY BEEMER??!!!

The policemen just shook his head, and said "You know, you are so worried about whats happened to your car, you have not even noticed whats happened to your arm.

The lawyer looked to his left arm, which is now just a bloody stump.  Wide eyed, he pointed his nose to the sky and brayed:" OH NOOOOOOOO! WHERES MY ROLEX??!!
